Student Community Gathering for Racial Justice in Education

There’s too much happening in our world and nation today. After the height of the pandemic, relationship-building and collaboration have become more difficult. Students want to meet each other and build something beyond their school boundaries.
The purpose of this event is to be space for students to learn about Seattle’s desegregation efforts through RARE’s 30-minute film “Roosevelt High School: Beyond Black & White” and build community by meeting and sharing their experiences in education to inspire collective change across their school communities.
