Are you interested in helping empower students to lead activities that bring diverse groups of peers together, building a stronger sense of community and belonging?

Connections provides students with the resources they need to plan and lead inclusive activities that encourage collaboration, foster cross-cultural understanding, and promote racial equity.

To help students succeed, Connections offers training, mentorship, planning tools, and sponsorships that fund all expenses. We are also developing a directory of vetted activity providers who offer a wide variety of engaging and fun experiences.

Students can choose from the listed providers, combine them creatively, or be inspired to come up with something entirely new.

Examples of past activities:

  •  rock climbing with Mountaineers
  • Justice Journey of the Chinatown/International District with Bike Works
  • cultural exploration with the Wing Luke Museum

We need your help!

We’re seeking community members with fresh ideas to help identify and engage these providers with the Connections program. Your involvement will make a significant impact.

Whether you suggest local organizations, volunteer to connect with providers, or contribute your skills or resources—such as offering facilitation, mentoring, or logistical support—you can help ensure students have access to meaningful, impactful experiences.

If you do have an idea for a good Connections partner, please send them the attached flyer.

Visit the Connections webpage or contact us to learn more and get involved.
