It’s application time for high school seniors. RARE invites RHS seniors of color who have plans for more education after graduation to apply for one of RARE’s James A. Davis Memorial Scholarships! Due February 24, 2025!
RARE Welcomes Dr. Bea Butler to Board of Directors
RARE’s newest Board member, Dr. Bea Butler, brings a variety of advocacy and professional experiences -including the challenge of school integration as a kindergarten student! She believes in the work RARE is doing, breaking down barriers of racial biases and building communities of belonging.

At the annual RARE Pizza Lunch at RHS, student club members shared about their plans for Unity Day and learned about various opportunities available to them such as scholarships, grants, mentorships and programs that foster belonging.
