Vertical Adventures
The climbing wall activity is a 90-minute session introducing you to basic rock climbing in a fun, supportive environment. Youâll learn simple climbing techniques, safety protocols, and how to use gear. This experience encourages you to push your limits, build confidence, and develop trust in your peers as you work together and support each other on the wall.

Indigenous Walking Tour of UW Campus
The Indigenous Walking Tour at the University of Washington takes you through significant campus sites, highlighting the history and culture of Indigenous peoples connected to the land. You’ll visit stops like the Burke Museum, Intellectual House, and Union Bay Natural Area.

Play Time Interactive Game Show
Join the action in Play Time, an interactive game show where your team creates art and competes for prizes. Celebrate the creativity of the African Diaspora through art, music, dance, and storytelling. Tackle improv, trivia, and community art challenges while fostering collaboration, learning, and laughter in a fun, engaging environment.

Our volunteers who build the tiny homes come from all walks of life. We come together for one purpose: to get one more person off the street and into a place that is warm, safe and dry.

Redlining Heritage Trail Tour
Explore Seattle’s history of housing exclusion and redlining with this tour, created with the National Park Service and Northwest African American Museum. Walk through the Chinatown-International and Central Districts to hear stories of resilience, Civil Rights activism, and the ongoing impact of gentrification, while honoring BIPOC communities.

Social Music Making
Explore your heritage and discover hidden stories of the American musicians and communities who helped create some of the most popular music in the world. In this class, you will build foundational music skills you can apply to any instrument, and hone your beginner or intermediate skills on piano, guitar, uke, banjo, or vocals.

Graffiti Art
Students take part in a graffiti art workshop, exploring the evolution of graffiti from ancient cave drawings to modern street art. Guided by an instructor, they create bubble-style name designs while learning techniques like tags and throw-ups. This creative activity encourages advocacy and reflection on causes like conservation, mental health, and anti-racism.

“Pins & Peers” brings students together for team-based bowling at the University of Washington’s HUB Games. With diverse teams, friendly competition, and facilitator support, the event fosters connections, teamwork, and fun in an inclusive environment where all skill levels are welcome.

Students explore the art of mosaics by designing vibrant pieces using pre-cut tiles and glass. This hands-on workshop emphasizes teamwork and creativity, offering students a chance to work side-by-side in a supportive environment while learning artistic techniques.

Join Kay The Paint Lady for a guided painting workshop where youâll interact, collaborate, and create alongside your peers.
